DEL MAR Labor Day
Devastating performance by STRONG MADATE in Saratoga.
R1: Very difficult race. HE'S A DANCE STAR runs well fresh and comes to the race with big bullets over the track. With Bejarano (won twice with him) he's a wire to wire threat.
2nd ($6.20)

R2: improver MONEY MACHINE (56 > 67 > 74/ three points above today's par time) cuts back 3 1/16, drops from 50k and moves to Garret Gomez. Only knock is his lack of speed. Speedy FIGHT THE POWER for the exacta box.

R4: SHUSI EMPIRE is from a 2% first start trainer, and bred for routing, but she's trained too fast for Eoin Harty standars. The presence of Bejarano taking the call is unusual and positive. This very well bred filly could be a runner.

R7: SACRED OVATION is the class of the field and the two races he ran on synthetic he was super game. TOO FAST TO PASS won after a unconfortable trip. The last workout says he can rise another step.

R8: (3)GEORGIA is cold in the betting right now. (5)BELLE OF THE MEET had her chance and los by a neck, her trainer is better first start than second time out. COSTAMAR is training fast for a good debut trainer and Gary Stevens is top rating the speed.

R9: HALLO DOLLY looked like reaching peak form winning the Solana Beach easily and can win this grade 2 for the second year in a row. A JEALOUS WOMAN ran a blinder (21.2 > 44.2 > 1.08.1...) last time. Her last good form cycle lasted 3 races. If she mantains her edge can enrich the exacta
