I to made money with Warren on the ponies years ago, Had many big winners off his picks. I actually spoke to him in 2003. He was very informative and gave me a lot of insight as to what happenned to him in the sports biz.

If you made money off Mr. Lasky, then you are a rare bird indeed. My congratulations to you. Lousycapper, IMO, had it right.

Hmmm,
the new guy who disses Tom Durkin -- a Hall of Fame race caller -- praises one of the most notorious scamdicappers in the country. They wouldn't even let Lasky enter a horse in the Preakness because of some of his irregularities.

What's next, a soliloquy on how great a person Wayne Allyn Root is and that the RPM catalog is full of thoughtful material that will put you miles ahead of the game?

PA, I smell something -- and it ain't sandalwood.

Sounds like a true contrarian is in our midst. He probably does very well at the races! LOL

Go against something most people like, and praise something most people abhor....sounds like a pot stirrer to me...

No Stirrer

Not trying to stir the pot, just giving my opinion. Really dont like DUrkins call I like the guy at Delmar. As for Warren, I made money off the guy years ago . His horse ran in the Preakness. finished fourth Was not allowed to go in the Belmont. Wayne Root sucks! Ill stick with Mike

If you mean his column on the "putover" on the Del Mar 7th, 8/15, it just proves that he's unaware of:
-track bias
-pace
-bounces
-real betting coups

Just those four minor things, though.

Did you read the article

It was an obvious fix. If you think racing is on the level you should seek help

Comments like this from a new guy aren't advisable....

And nothing in this world is ever OBVIOUS....

Maybe not, Art, maybe it was obvious to someone who doesn't know all that much about racing. Sore loser?

Do you bet horses? If you do, you need help given your position about fixing.
If you don't, then your comments here are not welcome. We are players here, and you are casting stones at our game and we don't need your crap.

So who are you? An obviously sick player or an unwelcome outsider who has no business here?

Ease up Tom! Art's just agreeing with Kelso....

And Art, nobody said all races are on the up and up....we know some races aren't kosher....nothing in this world is on the 100% level....

Exactly

some are a litle bit shady. I happen to agree with Kelso on this one,Im not saying he is the all great handicapper supreme, but I think he was on the mark with this one. Especially with the comments from the offshore books who were taken.....Besides if everyone agrees on every subject it gets a little boring
