If I thought so, I certainly would have said so by now.

Do you think children of conservatives should be placed into concentration camps, like the dude from PBS says in the link above from ABC?

Who are the liberals, anyone who did not or does not support Trump?
Who are the conservatives? Trump, Jeff Flake?
What would you expect to be accomplished by an administration which has not yet taken office?
The stock market is up since the election, but not at all certain why, though politicians like to claims credit.

You are whoever you say you are.
To be clear, I am a slightly-right-of-center moderate.
I am committed to the checks and balances of two parties fighting it out.
That's why I asked for opinions.
Sure, the question was provocative. But it was an honest question.
Reality is a Bitch
The democrats crushed this. (Probably not honestly, but history won't record that.) (Or maybe it will - posthumously.)
Now they are using all of the tools at their disposal to eliminate the other party. And I do mean TOOLS.
Or perhaps you don't see any of this is happening.
So, as we watch the Party of Cancel perform their purge of everything not liberal, do you not see a problem in the future?
You may not believe this but it was an honest question.

Meanwhile....
Professional golfer Justin Thomas has been dropped by Ralph Lauren for his mumbled "What a fag" last week after missing a 5 foot putt and punishing himself. Even after realizing what he'd done, apologizing up and down and swearing that's not who he is, it is now suggested that he work on his non-inclusive insensibilities, his obvious hate attitude, and his short putting game.
Now that's punishment.

I heard an interesting take on this a long time ago. Jesus was not at all implying "Thank you sir may I have another." Laws at the time, allowed someone higher up in society to strike another person using only one hand, I believe the left hand, and only with an open palm and on the side of the face. A simple slap on the cheek was allowed, striking the front of the face was prohibited. If you were to attempt to defend yourself by striking back, you would get yourself in a heap of trouble. Your best plan of action would be to turn your other cheek to the offender thus preventing him from slapping your cheek again, if he tried it again, he would hit the front of your face which was not allowed. You have defended yourself with dignity and without escalating the situation. It would take a lot of self control to do this but it was about the only way to protect yourself without cowering or being arrested.

Your "interesting take" (and you, I will add) just served a serious lesson to a superficial thinker. Bravo!

Interesting. Any idea what Jesus might have meant by his subsequent "Do not resist evil" remark?

Margie...I must confess that the main reason for me coming here is to impress you with my "intellect". And seeing you reject me like this just devastates me.

Not really, perhaps there is a little devil in all of us? I really don't know. It probably belongs in the religion thread.
He did say that it's better to teach someone how to fish than to to just give them fish.
