I was looking forward to visiting there and making some NFL future beats and playing some horses a few weeks from now, hope there isn't a financial issue.
It is a not so great 250 mile round trip from me. Pretty sure Virginia OTBs opening back up and online sports betting legal now here has hurt their business.

the percentages get taken out of the purse earnings by the track. every jockey gets a set fee for riding the horse, they get 10% of the purse when they win everywhere that I know of.

No insiders from CT here to lay out the issues? I would consider CT my local track until Colonial Downs returns to as it once was, if it ever will.
