DeSantis holds roundtable discussion with hospital CEOs
The mainstream media is making the covid spike, we are having here now, out to be an Armageddon. And that bad governor doesn’t know what he’s doing. There was one that stated that the hospitals are at the highest capacity ever.
DeSantis had a meeting with Florida’s hospital CEOs yesterday. Here’s the video:
If you watch the video (it is kind of long and boring), the CEOs say that their hospitals have about 5%-25% (depending on the CEO) covid patients. 90%-99% of those patients were unvaccinated. Of the 1%-10% that were vaccinated, most were immunocompromised, meaning they had some condition like an organ transplant, etc. Around 25% of the vaccinated patients, were there for another reason such as knee surgery, childbirth, etc. In other words, they were asymptomatic and didn't know they had it.
The main reason that the hospitals are so full is because for the last 15 months people put off their surgeries, treatments, etc., and are finally coming back. They all said that, if need be, hospitals could open more covid wards including putting off elective surgeries, etc.
This whole spike is a nothing burger. The only victims are the unvaccinated and they deserve what they get.

I can only hope Trump has enough sense not to run. Desantis will win by a landslide. But I don't think he will run against Trump in a primary. He will throw his hat in if Trump does not run. He say what is on his mind without the Trump delivery and he does what he thinks is right without delays and BS. A breath of fresh air.

Exactly! That's exactly what the Biden admin. was doing with DeSantis. Biden needs to remove the beam from his own eye before pointing to any splinter in DeSantis'.

He is a more refined Trump and without the baggage. Either one is great to have but 4 more years of "Russia, Russia, Russia" and all the other crap-stractions would be nice to avoid.

We can only hope Democrats nominate Kamala Harris in 2024 as we know they give extra points for females and minorities and they can call everyone who doesn't like her a sexist racist. Better yet they should nominate Lori Lightfoot so they can call anyone who doesn't like her a sexist, racist, homophobe and she will get extra points Kamala won't get. Trump needs to not run in 2024, apologize for his transgressions and then throw his support behind whatever candidate wins the Republican nomination in 2024. He needs to set his massive ego aside and be a team player.
