NFL Week Four

I just checked Covers.com and the Steelers, who are 2-1, are 3 point underdogs against the Ravens, who are 0-3, and the Steelers are the home team. How many points is Big Ben worth? I guess a lot.

I think you're right. The line makes no sense.

It's a trap game, you fools....shop around and take the Ravens and give up the eventual 2.5 by game-time.

**Full Disclosure.. this advice is from a guy who had to re-finance his home to avoid getting his legs broken by bookies

I believe that, statistically, there is actually no such thing as a "trap" game. All of the usual trap stuff, like a team will not cover the spread against a weaker team when they have a big game the next week....these have been statistically debunked.

Smart pick. Screwy line. Nice to get 3 points on the better team, at home, no less.

The closing line was Balt -3 with a total of 44, so the expected score was Balt 23.5 Pitt 20.5. Final score? Balt 23 Pitt 20. Not an easy game to beat.
