In a few short hours the Democrats will have set the bar so low for future impeachments that they will become commonplace. Every president has invoked executive privilege when it comes to a subpoena from Congress. That is what the Democrats are claiming under the obstruction to Congress charge. Funny, not one Democrat opened their big mouth when Obama used it several times.
Why do I have the feeling the Senate Republicans are going to blow a golden opportunity to torch Biden and his son on their corruption in Ukraine. Trump can come out smelling like a rose from the trial but I don't see the Republicans going for the jugular. Yes, he will be acquitted, but the damage to the Democrats and Biden can be enormous. Lets hope the Republicans have some balls and call every witness on the planet that will crush the Democrats.

Because it is beginning to look like they are not even going to go to trial. That does not mean some Senate committee could not investigate the corruption in state department, intelligence organizations and Bidens/Clintons pay to play.

You would have to ask OBAMA that question.
HE WITHHELD lots of aid to them.
TRUMP put a temporary hold until he was satisfied they deserved it, then gave it to them with no quid pro. Then he gave them even better military missiles, There is no doubt, Ukraine is far better off with what Trump has done for them then they were with the little OBama gave them. You remember Obama, the F*** coward who did NOTHING when RUSSIA invaded Crimea? And of course yo remember the pink line in Syria.
How anyone sane person cold ever thing Trump has not proven himself FAR superior to protecting others over the Kenyan Koward is amazing. It just is not true.

Jeff, we just hit the bottom of the barrel.

The Libs have conveniently selective short memories and forget about Obama's "Fast and Furious" debacle in which the Rs wanted to subpoena aides, WH counsel, etc., and BO immediately invoked Executive Privilege. Don't recall, however, any Republican cries going up to impeach the two-bit community organizer for obstruction of Congress.

Mitch the "turtle" wants to push this current fiasco through the Senate as fast as possible, in spite of Trump's earnest desire for a full trial. I strongly suspect the reason for this is because Mitch (who is part of the Swamp) wants to avoid the Hunter-Biden scandal like the plague because too many politicians on both sides of the swamp are guilty of the same kinds of behavior. Draining the Beltway Swamp is nastier work than draining septic tanks, so Mitch wants to avoid the vile, foul stench a Hunter-Biden inquiry/investigation would certainly raise. It's not likely Trump will get his wish.

It's official - it is now a political coup.
Not a single republican vote, and the ems could not even get all their people on board - 3 voted no.
Thomas Jefferson just threw up.
