I believe they get generated once the card goes final, not necessarily the day before. I'm not sure of the exact process but if you mean you'd like them before program numbers and morning lines are available, I can ask.

Thanks Craig, ML and post-positions have only slight relevance in my handicapping process but the "condensed file" very much does.
Any improvement in having them available sooner would be appreciated..

I know there is some stuff in the works for improving print products, including the condensed version. I'll see what I can find out.

It's less than 40 hours before post at Belmont and still no condensed file for Thursday. I've spoken with DRF representatives and they're mostly clueless and on occasion I get someone that isn't familiar with this product at all. So I'm left to post here or wait for whomever is responsible to "push the button", not good..
Within 10 min of me posting the condensed file is now available

I'm looking into it now. When did the card go final?

Sorry, I didn't know either. I just know the condensed doesn't go final until the morning lines and posts are assigned. I don't think that was the hold up here, think there was another issue.

Craig, just to double check back to the original Pace Figures
for 6 to 7 furlong races the pace figure was the 1/2 mile figure
for a mile to 9 furlongs it was the 6f figure
and for longer than that it was the mile pace figure?

Craig,
This looks odd. From Bel R5 on 6/30 The race fractions are roughly the same for the first and third calls but almost 2 second adjustment for the second call? Is that usual? Also is this kinda normal in longer races to have a fast half mile then a really slow third call? Try to make a pace judgment about the race but its tough.

Yes, and at 12f it was 10f.

I'll look up specifics tomorrow, but real times and adjusted fractions are not meant to be compared. Adjusted times are only meant to be compared to other adjusted times.
The red/blue combo is a red flag though, will definitely double check.

OK, the WO, the King Edward.
Top last out fig horse, albeit from a synth race, just paid over $90.
One thing I learned over the synth BCs at SA, I make no distinctions between turf and synth. So to me, this was the 4 rules horse.
I just bet a token $2 WPS on it. I really liked the , who was the second top last out fig.

Weird race where a longshot set a fast pace and then dropped anchor pretty quick. But after that, the closers finished strong. You won't see that kind of shape very often for sure.
