Starting with the NY-Bred races thurs/fri specifically 6,7 and 2,7,8

the 9th on Friday (Forbidden Apple S.) looks like a big prep-stakes with a bunch of hard-hitters.

Schuylerville Race 8


KISS THE GIRL is one to watch. I don't like her to win this. Too 'raw' at the moment, and probably wants a mile. She should get an 'education' from the outside post w/ Johnny V. aboard for Todd Pletcher and Three Diamonds Farm.

Lot of precocious hard-hitters in here.

Kiss The Girl could get lucky and inherit a dream trip or something, but I'm looking to see if she can relax and make a smooth run. Should like the distance, and could be solid moving forward.

I don't know who will win this race... Should be several players aggressively going for this, right out of the gate. O'Neill has a couple, Pletcher has a precocious speed, Wesley Ward's filly will be fit...

I don't have any smart play here, but I took a liking to the Kiss The Girl and would love to see her relax and run a smooth practice race.

Saez will aggressively break forwardly with the TIZ_No_Bluff. He should take them a long way..., #5FED_FEVER should accompany by pressing or leading...

You've got three Major PLAYERS
One 'Proven', and Two 'Potential'...

'Potential' always gets overbet/underlayed..
but hey, those 'potential' horses are 'fun'...

REAL_DAN is 'proven' to be a solid stalker/closer, and his recent paper form projects him as the winner. -If you buy the 'potential is always overbet' stuff -- then you throw $2 on Dan @>3/1 ... --

ARMAMENT comes in for high% Owner Mike Sisk. They have built such a nice operation "M and M Racing". (y)
ARMAMENT all business, racing as a 'first-time Gelding'... Has shown a nice stretch-run (which sets up nicely here), and improvement would not surprise.

#4HOLLYWOOD_HANDSOME comes in off a seven-month layoff, has back-class, a stretch-running style, and has *FLASHY!* works for a high% barn... -I'm rooting for him, but wary that he may not be competitive...-

LONG-SHOTS=

aforementioned #6TIZZNBLUFF Morning-Line odds are too low, but has a 'puncher's chance' to grind out a win on the wrong lead, should the 724 fail to fire... 10/1?

#8CURLIN'S_NEW_MOON is in good form, and will hope to grind along a board spot, and be on the scene, should no one else 'seize' victory.

#3BLURRED_LINE seems to need a perfectly timed late-move, or bust..., can't fight-out a stretch-run. Danny Gargan is a good horseman, and they've been getting this 5yoG to change leads in the works. Tough read, but I'm against, in spite of a likely fair price.

#9AMERICANO has no shot on paper, but Rosario is one of the top jockeys....

#1POKER_GAME hopes to secure a minor award, at big odds, by saving ground near the pocket, and riding with the flow, staying out of the fray.-- (Maybe build a gimmick 10cent superfecta w/ POKER_GAME 4th ...
