RIP to a long time trainer on the New York circuit.
Not the highest of profiles or the most successful barn on the backside, but he was a tireless advocate of aftercare programs for retired horses, and by all accounts a solid guy.
Plus, he usually sent out a longshot fit-n-ready at Saratoga every year

Sad to hear of his passing.

....condolences

What a fine gentleman he was.... I always visited his small barn operation at Saratoga on my annual visits to the Spa. He was always very friendly and nice to us. he earned my respect as a fine man. He put up a strong fight. My condolences to his may NY friends and family. He was only 62...a sad loss indeed!
