You should probably do just a bit of research on where the Jan 6th Committee lands on the Priority List of Everyday Americans with their concerns in their everyday lives. Voting Rights Act. Civil Rights Act. Both were opposed by the Democrats... EPA was started by Nixon a Republican. Dem's tried to torpedo Clarence Thomas A Black Man from serving on the SC. Bush tried to nominate a Black conservative woman to the Court but Dem's filibuster her nomination.
As a senator, Biden warned President George W. Bush that if he nominated the first Black woman to serve on the Supreme Court, he would filibuster and kill her nomination.
Roe v Wade Conservative Supreme Court righted that wrong.
