In a widely read 2020 story by Jeffrey Goldberg of the Atlantic, Trump was also described as telling aides the former president George HW Bush was a loser, because he was shot down while serving as a navy pilot in the second world war.
Kelly continued and said Trump was “a person that did not want to be seen in the presence of military amputees because ‘it doesn’t look good for me’”.

As a matter of fact, every Trump policy was an unmitigated disaster. His tax cuts for the wealthy were a major factor in the debt increases of nearly $8T. He tool us out of the Paris Climate Accord and hastened the end of the world. He repealed the Iran Nuclear Treaty, which meant no more inspections of Iran’s nuclear facilities. His lack of a comprehensive policy on Covid cost millions of people to be sick and prolonged the pandemic. He had no plan for getting out of Afghanistan.
He fomented and incited an insurgency. He stole classified documents then covered that up. He cheated on his taxes. He cheated at business. He sexually assaulted women. There is increasing evidence that he is in cognitive decline.
But you keep kissing his butt.
