These races remind me of the time there was a P4, including two stakes from SAR and two from AP. Usually, high payouts. Haven't seen that type bet offered in awhile.

100k Guaranteed pick 5 with a 15% takeout catches my eye. Big fields guys, start your cappin!

Nice card. Hope the current forecast is wrong. It is gorgeous here this week...upper 70's and dry. BUT, calling for thunderstorms starting late Friday night and all through Saturday. Could cause havoc to some solid early cappin'.

No question it is the best track to play this Saturday. Not only the stakes but the supporting races as well.

Haven't analyzed the race yet but at first sight Treasure Beach seems to be overpriced at 2/1.

In addition to the .50 cent $100K Guarantee P5, there is a $1 P6, without Guarantee, that begins in the 5th race. Right now, I have five possibles in 5th and five in the 6th that need to be trimmed by at least two each race. Checked last Saturday's P6 pool and it didn't amount to much for the effort. However, it may increase big time with the major stakes races included. The P5 is the bet, at this time.

I think the pick 5 and pick 4's are the way to go. P6 might be too small.

Think all three of the big races have favorites who are vulnerable. I refuse to take a low price on any horse Aidan O'Brien runs on this continent; as for Stacelita, I don't think the United Nations was particularly strong this year. Don't have anything against Treasure Beach; I do think Banned and Wilcox Inn are going to give TB all he can handle.

I agree. How often have we seen multiple Euro shippers come in where one is very highly hyped and the other is overlooked......and the overlooked horse wins at a big price? Have seen it happen many, many times. I suppose if I was a book and had to put odds up, I guess I'd have to make Treasure Beach a favorite probably in the neighborhood of 9-5. But the 3-2 quoted by Billy Hill is too low, IMO. Not sure if they are fully taking into account O'Brien's stateside struggles.

Anyone know what the weather and turf condition are likely to be?
