Yeah, I'm not a fan of Mike Dimoff. There was one race on the card where the 2nd place horse wasn't mentioned once during the race. Had absolutely no clue where my horse was.

For those of us that don't follow that track, what was the questionable word?

Oh, you just never know what word might pop into his head - and out his mouth. Imagine Norm Crosby as a freshman English Lit major.
Listen to his call of Sunday's fourth race at the Fort Erie website. Anyone else would say that a horse is blocked, bottled up, crying out for room.
Not OUR boy. Blocked? Piffle! The horse was "impoverished."

He's just a septuagenarian, but he'll grow out of it.
I just found this thread --- I've been sequestered.

The Most Boring Announcer
If this is the same Mike Dimoff that I heard at Northlands while vacationing there, he is the most boring announcer in the history of horse racing - bar none. "The leaders are on the muscle around the first turn."

Flawed decisions
This is another flawed decison, on top of a long long list made by "FORT ERIE".

Good announcing helps make a race experience entertaining.
Having said that, I'd rather not have an announcer than listen to Dimoff.
