There are rumors the 4 resigned prosecutors told the DOJ lower recommended sentence than what they finally told court. If that is the case, they were going to get fired anyway.

Its not a rumor... they told Barr's DOJ one thing and the court another. Barr has said as much. That when the News reported he thought it was spin. After some calls he said He had to fix this... that was prior to Trumps tweets.
So the 4 Rats did their dirty deed for Schiff then jumped shipped and ran for cover.
