Hassan Nasrallah, leader of the Hezbollah terror group, stated that then current American President Barack Obama had funded ISIL, back in August of 2014.
How he funded ISIL was never mentioned though....
BTW, I have no opinion on the matter, as I never brought up ISIL.

That sounds like a reach.
You mean we were arming anti-Assad groups and some of those weapons might have made their way to ISIS?
That at least passes the sniff test. A Operation Cyclone to ISIS does not.
Got any sources for this?

<Shrug>
I've heard it tossed around before but have never seen anything remotely convincing it's true.
It's obvious we armed a bunch of anti-Assad groups but saying we intentionally armed al Qaeda's little brother...
Why I asked davew.... thanks for the tidbit though.

Maybe they got a cut off of the unmarked pallet of cash 0bama tried to sneak into Iran.
One thing we know for sure, based on that event, 0bama was not transparent and he did thing under cover of darkness to keep it from the American people.
Like a thief in the night.

No... they hate ISIS. They carried nearly as big of burden as us in fighting them. They wouldn't give them cash or Arms.

So you say......
Who says 0bama did not send more unmarked pallets of cash that weren't discovered?
Funding Iran is as despicable as funding ISIS.
B.Hussein had no problem siding with the enemies of the USA.

Wasn't really looking to argue with you on this Tom... but we've now gone all the way to the "who's to say he didn't" argument.
Obama can be both a bad president and hard on terrorist groups.
Trump can be both a bad president and know regulation hurts industry.
Middle ground is possible.

If you think this is an argument, you are reading too much into it.
