Can you tell me if this sounds abusive?
My friend's husband won’t let her visit any friends or family. He has made her stop all contact with them unless it’s on the phone or computer. He reads and censors her comments on social media.
He makes her feel like she's going crazy for thinking he’s controlling.
He doesn’t let her go to work...he wants her to rely on him only for income.
She's only allowed to go out for necessities, and when she does, he makes sure to have people guilt trip her about it and shame her for it.
He wants her to have this medical procedure done and tells her that if she does it, he will allow her more freedoms.
She has to cover her face in public. And no one is allowed to come near her.
He claims he’s doing all of this because he cares, he is doing it for her own good.
Oh wait....did I say husband? I meant the government.
You are in a relationship with an abusive government.

I went to Tubi TV to watch a movie last night and I had to sign in my sex and age. The options I had were Man - Woman - OTHER!?

I hired a nurse yesterday that also works for the largest hospital in the area. He worked on a covid unit and said that they used to have a 22 bed and a 32 bed covid units at the hospital running at full capacity. Now? One unit is still open and only six patients. They are thinking of closing the unit due to lack of need.
