Why would you ride to win on a bomber if you bet chalk.

Because the jockey's win fee is more than what the winning bet would pay. Anybody know how much he is betting?
Betting against a double digit winner makes him the worst handicapper out there?

I would like to see what kind of bets the guy made before going apesh*t on this. Including a couple of other horses ALONG WITH your horse in a horizontal wager is technically betting against yourself but not the same thing as betting another horse but not yours imo. Same with betting your horse in an exacta box.

From what I understand he was gambling on everything and out of control. That makes him vulnerable to people he might owe money to. He can't be trusted in 60 days to be cured

And I think W.C. said that about swearing off drinking.

Exactly why the military runs credit checks when you get a security clearance.

Easy he bets a lot against his horse, and then his buddies and him bet his horse offshore.

There is a recent podcast out there with her where she talks about riders doing each other favors. I don't think she meant it is as bad as it sounds, but she should have been smarter. I'm sure if you google around you can find it.

What is said in a workplace should stay in a workplace.
Do I do favors for co workers.
Of course I do.
Do I talk about it.
Omertà.
