The 10 year old Gelding makes his 92 career start today in Belmont's 5th Race.
He's on at 9 different tracks and on all surfaces.
It appears this guy brings his lunch pail to work every day.

He ran OK, albeit well down from his performance level of even last year. He also was claimed again.

I love war horses like everyone else but I have to admit to wondering if it might be the time for him. He actually showed up recently on the NYRA vet list and had to be scratched multiple times before his recent race. No idea what the new connections have in store for him but hopefully he gets to live a happy life in retirement soon.
