I corresponded with Ray a few times and he was always very kind and helpful. I learned several valuable things from him and am grateful.

Thank you Ray for your contributions to teaching us - godspeed onward.

Ted

Very sad news. Raybo was a stand up guy. He helped me wiht a few Excel things over the years.

He is an icon around here.

My thoughts and prayer to him and his family and friends.

This very sad development deserves its own thread in a major forum of this site, IMO...given that Raybo was a fixture here for a long time. My deepest condolences go out to his family.

I agree with Thask that this should be moved to a more prominent spot.

I didn't know Raybo that well but I always liked his posts and you could see he was a really good, helpful guy. My condolences to his family and all of his good friends here as well.

So Long Friend

There are very few if any persons that you are in contact with on the Internet that you can call a friend, but to me Raybo was a friend because he was always polite and supportive even when he disagreed with me; and I hope now he is at lasting peace.

Discussed things with Ray quite a few times while he was developing his software. Such a nice guy. So sad to hear of his passing.
