Yes I have been in the dairy industry the last 50 years. Most very large dairy's have 'captive' labor of the 'undocumented' type. This has caused a detriment to all smaller operations in the country following the rules.
I understand they have impacted other industries as well, like new construction, roofing, fast food,... depending on the state.
Would your company been able to find more documented workers at minimum wage, if these workers weren't there? or would wages have to be raised?

Yes we would have and did. I hired them in a pinch and they turned out well.
I built custom specialized exclusive furniture, and displays for department stores and trade shows. Never hired skilled immigrant labor, but if they were qualified, and passed the tests, I would have at industry level wages. Very different industry.
What is captive labor, and did you pay them "dirt cheap". I paid starting UNSKILLED workers minimum wages.
Read this. Not sure how it impacts dairy, but......

Land mines are cheaper, easily installed, and possible more effective.
Augmented with snipers and attack dogs.......very good short-term solution and would give Trump more time to finish the walls in his tired and fourth terms.

Another Win for The Donald:
Supreme victory! Top court backs Trump’s asylum rules change for now

And by the way, here's a little info for all the bleeding hearts out there: Poverty is not a legitimate reason to seek asylum.

New wall going up in Lukeville, Arizona.
Today's Trump Tidbit: Border wall costs less than the ObamaCare website. Remember that fiasco?

This is why I'm FOR the Wall!
Illegal Aliens Sue Trump Admin for Access to American Welfare and Green Cards

The majority of illegals are here to mooch off the American Public. They're here to game the system.
Who do these people think they are that they believe they have a moral right to the money of hard working taxpayers? What audacious temerity! Even most of their fellow Hispanics who are here legally don't approve of their actions.

Hate to tell you but your builder is beginning to resemble a lizard.
Wonder if his makeup is caking, and building up, or he is literally transforming into his ridiculous vanity wall no one wants.
An untouched recent photo....of your...

Hey guys, guess who's back?
Nearly four decades after the original, Sylvester Stallone returns as the iconic character for the fifth and supposedly final entry in the action-movie franchise.
https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/re...-blood-1240902
But fans of the venerable action series needn't be worried. In between those moments, the battle-hardened war veteran played by Sylvester Stallone brutally kills scores of people.
That they all happen to be Mexicans is surely a coincidence in this current political age.
.................................................. ................
Maybe he'll do a campaign rally down on the border with you know who?
Both over the hill on long in the tooth
