I went back to work on Sat and in Newark gas was @ $2.93..

I have never seen gas cheaper in NY than NJ...it was always a 30 ct deference even at Cost Co prices....

To keep a long story short, a year or so ago, our NJ gov Chris Christie allowed a 23 cent gas hike. Now we all pay much higher prices here.

Just went over the three dollar per gal mark in Danbury . Up like 35 cents a gallon over the last four weeks.

$3.41 is currently the best I have seen in North County San Diego. Costco probably a bit cheaper but I don't go there anymore since I beat my 100 pack of frozen taquitos addiction.

Did you dress them up with some guacamole and hot salsa? I used to go to Costco quite a bit when I lived in So Cal, the Riverside one had gas a nickle to a dime cheaper than local stations and during times of higher than normal prices the gas station was packed to the point it impeded the parking lot that was shared by numerous other businesses. I never understood why someone would wait 15-30 minutes or more to save a damn dollar or two on a tank of gas.

Me too! My new truck has a built in app that finds the cheapest gas around me via my phone. It has never given me a reason to drive more than a block or two to save much at all. Usually under a dollar savings on a tank
