i have been buying Mosaic (MOS). this company does phosphate and potash crop nutrients. kind of boring and the dividend is only .20 per share. lets see if it livens up going forward.

Buffet also dumped Wells Fargo and Chase. but he went into Bank of America in a big way.

my guess is that there will be a consolidation of banks coming and Bank of America will gain from that.

the interesting thing about Buffet is that here are funds that mirror whatever he does, so that is going to put juice into those equity's.

Buffett bought the common stock of Barrick, a gold miner, and not the precious metal. That's a big difference.

they just did a financing today and the price is holding up. this can fall to $1.20 and be a super buy there.

the financing was done at $1.65 canadian and came with an option.

McEwen knows property around Red Lake and Timmons. the money is being spent to dig up Timmons, so there must be something there.

MUX hit 1.20 friday. that should be close to a bottom for now.

silver eagle premiums are $8 an ounce. you can sell your ounces for a $4 premium. this is a big shortage of physical gold and silver now. people are buying all over the world as an insurance policy from their governments.

right now the dollar is in the middle of a bounce. i don't think it will fall below 90 until after the US election. but it is dangerously close to falling off the cliff. this is what is keeping the metals market down as well.

its going to take at least 2 years for the worlds economy to make a significant bounce. in our country we have lost a net amount of 13 million jobs and it doesn't look like its going to get better soon.

but copper should come back in a big way 2 years from now. within 5 years i think it will be $5 a pound in today's dollars. if the dollar gets weaker it will be higher. right now copper is slightly under $3,00 per pound. natural gas probably going to follow the same route as copper. that would be a humungus move in that market.
