NFL penalty rule?

Late in the Seahawks/Titans game, Russel Wilson was called for intentional grounding WHILE IN HIS OWN END ZONE. I thought the rule was IF a penalty is called while a player is in his own end zone it is a safety score for the defense? True or NOT?

very close call indeed, but I believe he was ruled forward progress at the 1. he had reached out with the ball prior to throwing it and the refs deemed forward progress.
titans ended up winning anyways, but yes if flagged for the intentional grounding game would have been over with a safety.

This, forward progress, ruled in the grasp. Goes down as a sack, the throw never happened.

He wasn't flagged for intentional grounding, and the call on the field was forward progress. Its not a reviewable play.
After watching the replay I think the refs got it right.

My opinion is that he was just taken down before the endzone so it would not be intentional grounding.

This is coming from a Seahawks fan so I am a bit biased of what the refs said
