This is what happens when you allow politics to rule your thoughts every single waking minute of every day.
We see various intensities of this obsession on this very board all the time. These people have just elevated it to a whole other level where they actually take matters into their own hands.
That's why the secret service has been a thing for a while...this is nothing new

I hope they catch the nutcase immediately, throw away the key. As mentioned above, both sides have their zealots.
I watched CNN and. MSNBC today for the first time in quite awhile, hatred for "the other side" is every bit as rampant as some of the right wing radio whacko shows. The Feinstein , Ford fiasco is where politics has landed. Has to be repaired, the media has to go back to what it's meant to be (impartial).

Both sides are guilty of ramping up the rhetoric, but you must admit, it is the prominent DEMOCRATS as of late who have called for GETTING INTO PEOPLE'S FACES and making everyday life difficult for them...AGGRESSION....KICK THEM...ETC ETC...
The more violent among us might take that as a call to action....a sort of "anything goes now" siren song to the mentally ill...
