Some big values yesterday and today at OP (yesterday a $900+ exacta)

R1 #4 ran 3rd for $5.40; #2 came in 4th.
R2 #1 ran 2nd paid $6.60 and $4.40
R8 #4 ran 3rd @14-1 paid $4.60

None of my LS were winners today, Oaklawn is tough w/alll the new horses and shippers.

Oaklawn has been impossible so far, horses coming from everywhere is not the best for handicapping.

Adore looked good-nice time as well. Someone from the Asmussen barn(exercise rider) was at the bar across the street from OP and I overheard him say what a nice filly she is (right before the race). Also, Asmussen is shipping a lot of top notch horses to OP in the coming weeks

Sandy, do you use a program that provides pace distribution (early/late rankings) readouts? If so, by applying race shape to the distribution readouts you should be hitting a healthy share of winners at least 2 of the days so far, including a few at nice prices.
As for a good chunk of the other races, beware the T/J connection factor.
I only played OPX opening day and Sunday, but had nice days both times.
Didn't get rich mind you, but it's always nice to come out on the bright side of +.
Good luck to you.

If I remember right, Ramon missed the first few weeks here last year...thinking he’s got his sights set to get the first jump out in the standings...along with Ricardo...

“R squared”...is double-plus good...!

It may be "impossible" from a handicapping perspective, but the betting has been spot on. The tote analysis has been picking up on some very profitable Vertical plays!
Never looking for Winners, just looking for those well intentioned horses to make up some combinations for Winning plays.

Sundays late pick 4 was one of the easier ones you could find.

The fun comes later. After the first month last year, 298 out of 353 remaining races were won by horses who's last start was at OP. Another 17 were first time starters. Shippers only accounted for 11% of the wins.

Any idea if this is a fairly common trend at OP? I know last year was ridiculously wet.....that first month or two cleaned my clock.

Ive held my own so far this year but its been a grind.
