Wow, Doc Fauci was the highest paid Federal Employee...even before COVID...lol

https://www.forbes.com/sites/adamand...h=37d181e9386f

Quote:
Dr. Anthony Fauci made $417,608 in 2019, the latest year for which federal salaries are available. That made him not only the highest paid doctor in the federal government, but the highest paid out of all four million federal employees.
Shazaaaaaaaam!

Key point. Didn't consider the possibility of other outside sources of income.

Remember, the above data was BEFORE COVID-19(84) broke loose...

How could this guy be the highest paid federal employee...period? In 2019?

And people say Trump was shortchanging virology study in the USA? He decimated our ability to combat a pandemic?

And yet he paid Fauci the most out of anyone?

Seems he valued Fauci very much, wouldn't you say Light? hcap? mostpost? LMAO

Still al lot less than football coaches make. Go check state payrolls, they tend to be the highest paid state employees by a longshot. At least Fauci is trying to do some good.

Doc Fauci must know where all the bodies are buried...

He's lucky he made it through that throat surgery in one piece a few months ago.

Joan Rivers wasn't as lucky...

He wasn't making appearances in 2019. 2019 was COVID-free. Nobody knew who he was. Yet he was highest paid federal employee period.

You know how much someone with Fauci's credentials could be makling in the private sector? What do you think he should be making at his post - 120K? What world do you live in

I looked up his salary going back a few years

2015: $368K
2016: $384K
2017: $384K
2018: $399K
2019: $417K

And since we all know Trump reviewed all the salaries of federal employees and slashed them left and right (trust me, he had the power!), he must have valued Fauci very much indeed!

His salary isn’t out of line with top-flight, private sector physicians and considering his qualifications a bargain to boot.

Yeah, really.

The GENERAL PUBLIC had no idea who he was prior to COVID.

So yeah, again, REALLY.

And we're talking about the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.

The whole reason people LEAVE the Federal Government is precisely BECAUSE they can make a BOATLOAD MORE IN THE PRIVATE SECTOR.

Why do you need me to spell out the obvious flaws in whatever non-argument you are trying to make? You know all this already.

Besides writing some papers, directing some ill advised and dangerous research (which quite possibly led to the current state of affairs) and redirecting U.S. taxpayer money to the Wuhoo lab in China, what are Fauci's worthwhile accomplishments? We mustn't forget his partnership with Bill Gates through the "Global Vaccine Action Plan" which crippled and killed thousands of African and Indian children either. Fauci and Birx worked on an AIDS vaccine for decades and there is still... no AIDS vaccine. He flip flops more than a fish out of water, what the hell has he done?

Give me his job, I would try to do "some good" too. Is requiring competence too much to ask?
