How Pfizer's and Moderna's COVID-19 vaccines are tied to Operation Warp Speed

Quote:
In their own recent announcements, Moderna gave Operation Warp Speed a nod, while Pfizer didn’t mention it. That can be explained by the different partnerships the Trump administration struck with the two companies.

The federal government’s deal with Pfizer would pay for the purchase of the company’s vaccine if it gets FDA emergency use authorization or approval. So Pfizer hasn’t gotten any Warp Speed funding yet. With Moderna and other companies, by contrast, the government is helping to fund the vaccines’ development and various efforts to scale up manufacturing.

Those differences may influence who can claim the credit for the breakthroughs at this stage. But in either case, it’s clear the federal government is playing a significant role in the multi-pronged effort to develop and test vaccine candidates, manufacture them in large quantities and distribute them nationwide.
Now, I'm done with both of your selfish, liberal nonsense. Take it to someone else.

Admit it...you had no clue how the whole of Warp Speed worked UNTIL you read the article.

I did a mortgage recently for a Pfizer VP standing up one of the vaccine manufacturing lines.

From November 11th:

Most of the R&D has been done overseas while here they are already producing and ramping up production capacity.

One Exec manages a production team said they were hoping to bring online a new line that would triple production capacity sometime this month.

You seem to be doubling down on your ludicrous assertion that vaccines would be years away if it wasn't for Trump. You still won't answer the question as to why vaccines developed in other countries with their money is anything to do with 'Hero' Trump.

You mean the country that has health officials talking about forced vaccinations?

No, but a couple people in UK developed anaphylactic shock reactions which can be if not quickly treated.

These doctors don't want you to get the vaccine.

I believe a lot of people will be forced in order to keep their jobs.

As it should be.

As a customer I wouldn’t patronize a business unless I knew the staff were vaccinated.
