When you have a racing board that protects you better than a protection agreement with the mafia from anything and everything, whether it be clusters of 7 dead horses, drug positives in big qualifying races....
Kinda makes you wonder about how much other stuff has happened with same trainer that we will never know about, because it was decided "in closed sessions behind closed doors".....innocent, innocent, innocent!
If I were a trainer with special dispensation like this, I'd milk it for all I could get away with! Who wouldn't?

The game exists for the tracks, the horsemen, the breeders...and the mega-rebated whales. If THEY don't care about this, then it doesn't mean a damn thing...regardless of what a bunch of degenerate, addicted horseplayers like us think. Like all the other "injustices" in the game, this too will be forgotten in a few days...and things will soon go back to "normal". Nothing to see here...IMO.

Bamboozlin' Bob
Bamboozlin’ Bob . . . with a little bit of help from his friends at the California Horse Racing Board, made off with the Triple Crown. NO DOUBT, the biggest heist in ALL of horse racing history and may be the biggest heist in all of Sports.
Perhaps, if there were a single governing body, they would review this matter and hold everyone involved accountable, strip Bamboozlin’ of the Crown, impose a heavy fine and ban him from the Sport for life, kinda like what they did with that doper who won all those Tour de France Titles.
As it is, Bamboozlin’ Bob is likely to make off Scot-free. Made off with one of the most coveted trophies in all of Sports and got away with it. NO DOUBT this Triple Crown Winner will have an asterisk (*) next to his name. And NO DOUBT Bamoozlin’ Baffert’s reputation will be forever tarnished.
