Ignoring them worked better than acknowledging them.
Since Kim has been treated to massive State visits with giant fanfare in both China and Russia.
He was once a pariah for them. Now they love him.

He is fooling them all, no doubt.
No intention of giving up nukes, and a murderous tyrant gaining respect.
Trump and he are a pair to draw to.
Immoral sacks of waste matter with massive egos.
They truly deserve each other.

You are so incredibly intelligent.
50 years of not doing anything in North Korea was the right move.

Why did we need to do anything?
What tangible benefit has been realized by softening on the regime?
Are they now in a less favorable position than before?
Have they disarmed or even given us the slightest concession?
The answers are: We didn't, no, no, and no.
Trump DID get another nice picture today though.

We need to get Madeleine Albright back in there, maybe Sanders can bring her back if he wins.

I'll take any politician who isn't willing to trade massive international pressure for a ****ing picture and a pen pal.

It's really hard to believe that even Trump could be that vain and naive.
Sadly, it's pretty clear that he is.

Now trying to meet with bad dictators is awful. Seems like it wasn't long ago we were raving and cheering about the greatness of a president at a baseball game with a Castro brother . An equally murderous bunch in my opinion.

Trump has brought sunlight to something that many have denied for years, and that is that NK is nothing but a proxy for China.
All these different interactions with NK (along with SK, Japan, and others) are linked together and a part of the leverage Trump is using to achieve an improved and successful trade deal with China.

Russia beating U.S. in race for global influence, Pentagon study says

The study also points to the dangers of a growing alignment between Russia and China, which share a fear of the United States' international alliances and an affinity for "authoritarian stability."

So again...
Trump's administration will be remembered in history as the one which accelerated American decline at the world stage and paved the way towards a multi-polar 21st Century.
