The only reasons I can think of that the government of Mexico condones or even encourages mass migration to the U.S. is they truly are entertaining the thought of getting back portions of the United States. At the very least, with enough non assimilating Mexicans in the U.S., foreign policy towards Mexico can be strongly influenced. Otherwise, what government is ok with millions of its citizens leaving the country, especially the young? It makes no sense.

i'm not much of a believer in polls.
42 million added to our population seems like a doomsday scenario to me, considering how we already have crumbling roads, and bridges and a overtaxed system of schools and hospitals. not to mention a large population already in neglect, such as the homeless vets.
add to that the very large deficit, i don't know how you can seriously allow 42 new people into our country.
