Absolutely right! This was not in the Mueller game plan. In fact, they were counting on no one showing up! The indictments were pure theatrics -- a P'R stunt that was supposed to convey to all Trump haters and the low information crowd that "we have so much on the Ruskies -- so much evidence tying them to Trump -- that we can confidently indict the whole lot of them".
I can't wait until the next court date. (I strongly suspect the judge couldn't either which is why he denied the prosecution a delay, for he knew the defendant and his lawyer just stuck a huge thumb in Mueller's eye!) But when the date does roll around (assuming the charges aren't dropped before then ) Mueller is going to serve up to his fawning lapdogs a superb Oriental dish called EggOnFace.

What's the deal about Comey colluding with Mueller after getting fired but before testifying before Congress? Is this legal, or are they above the laws?

This quote goes double for McCabe as he is turning out to be a Russian spy and Comey and Co. knew it.

From True Pundit article
- FBI agents accused McCabe of interfering with Russian-linked investigations
including the Boston Marathon terror bombing and the Robert Levinson kidnapping cases, even making a formal complaint with the FBI Security Division.
-Even officials at CIA were concerned about McCabes Russian contacts, sources confirm.
-McCabe maintained an alliance with Russian oligarch Oleg Derikaspa a tycoon and close associate of Vladimir Putin. And McCabe apparently met with him in Europe without proper clearance from FBI, while Derikraspa was a possible target on a FBI organised crime probe. McCabe also privately acknowledged
to FBI agents Derikraspa was a friend.
And much much more.

Why would he follow the law? You're aware of his past.
