Right there with both you and Burnsy on Mshawish. Only thing he hasn't proven is 10 panels, but who is the real "proven" commodity in this field at 10 panels? Chrome?

The line I saw on Mshawish was 9/1, but 14/1 is very likely. DRF has it at 8/1.

Of an interesting note, the filly Polar River is a ML of 3/5 in the UAE Derby.

I was reading some of the quotes going into the 2015 world cup. Art Sherman said " He's a lot stronger horse right now, He's training awesome, better than he ever has." Alan Sherman " He travels great. By the second day, he was rearing up and feeling good. If he gets the opportunity to run his race, He'll put on a show. " For 2016 Art says He's training better than ever and is bigger and stronger. Though he was feeling so great last year they thought it was better if he came early this year. I hope this horse wins or they'll keep him in training next year and I'll hear " He's so much better and stronger this year, He couldn't be doing any better. "

Trip will takes it's toll on Chrome half way down the lane and it will open the door for a tote board explosion, Chrome hard pressed to hold onto a placing!!

Dubai travel toll is overrated. CC record at Meydan is 2-1-1-0 hard to imagine
a reasonable scenario of CC running out. He's not exactly be over-raced.

He and Frosted should be a small exacta.

I thought Chenoa was referring to the anticipated wide trip in the race itself. I don't think he is right about that either. I don't think Chrome will have any trouble with the travel, the trip or the competition.

3/1 fixed on Chrome. Who would take that?

Mshawish to win or split the chrome / frosted pair...that's how I see it. Not betting though...chrome or frosted are both in good shape now I hear...

Nah. Considering the likelihood of a wide trip, I can't see taking anything less than 6/7-1 on the horse. Frosted "should" be lower for sure and there are a few others you could argue should be close to Chrome in odds considering the track/distance. I think Chrome's presence makes this very playable. You can spread out pretty good and still make money. Even with Frosted on top.

I'd be curious to see a study of how American horses have fared in this race (years it has been on dirt) relative to their odds in the U.S. pool. I'm guessing the ROI is horrific.

Us horses of the year have a positive roi. :-)

I just bet California Chrome at a guaranteed 3-1 on the TVG mobile app. He is currently 1-1. How could you not? Especially if you think he is going to win anyway>

Easy. If you think his fair odds are 8-1.

Taking myself, with with .

Excellent betting race if you don't like CC or Frosted on top.

Maybe this horse will start getting the respect he deserves. What a performance to dust that field racing wide the entire trip.
