Final 3/8
Anyone have a list of the final 3/8 times for the major preps (SA, Wood, BG, Ark, etc)?

Mo Donegal 11.9 35.5
Epicenter 12.1 36.3

Zozos 12.3 37
Early Voting 12.4 36.3
Taiba 12.4 37.8
Tiz the Bomb 12.7 37
Barber Road 12.9 39.2
Smile Happy 13 37.8
Messier 13.1 37.8
Tawny Port 13.1 37.2

Un Ojo 13.4 39.4
Ethereal Road 13.6 39.2
Morello 13.8 39.5

In Due Time 13.9 38.7
White Abarrio 14.1 39.7
Crown Pride 14.5 41
Simplification 14.5 40.4
So according to Stanley's (RIP) checklist of Final 1/8 in 12.8 of less & Final 3/8 in 37.8 or less, the horses highlighted meet this criteria.
Hope I got that right.

Thanks.
Like many, been following the final 3Fs of the 9F prep races for a while now. Looking back at '18, '19, and '20 (fall), there have only been 2 horses with a sub :36. Tiz the Law and Maximum Security. Not bad company for Mo Donegal.
Anyone recall one faster than :35.65?
Early Voting connections with Chad Brown possibly sitting this out is very interesting. Horse certainly projects like he could have the lead with 1 panel or so to go.

With 1 panel to go? That seems to fit his name - but we may have to wait for the final returns to come in, and 2 out of the last 3 years we've had a recount.

Based on Stanley’s rules for the angle, I believe only a few horses fit it.
Nobody from the Arkansas derby or Florida derby qualify because the races were too slow.
Louisiana derby isn’t a big 5 prep.
Taiba, zandon, and mo donegal fit.
A bunch of horses in the wood finished behind mo donegal fast enough but I believe they lost to many lengths to qualify for the angle. Same with messier.

FightingIrish asked.

I have a computer program that calculates the final eight, final quarter and final three eights.

I usually just take the 9F-6F fractional time then make adjustments based on gain or loss of ground to the winner (1 length = 0.2 seconds). If the final 3/8 was timed at 38.0 seconds but the winner was 2.5 lengths behind the leader at the 6F pole, then subtract 0.5 seconds. If the horse was leading then got passed and finished 2.5 lengths back, then add 0.5 seconds.

On the same line as above
Epicenter 1f/3f E/P 7 102 101
Taiba 1f/3f E/P 6 102 111
Messier 3f E/P 8 103 108
Those horses meet all the criteria in article
