It's part of the traditional Armed Forces Farewell Tribute to the outgoing president.
You can call it a participation trophy, but who cares what you think? Apparently it's military tradition. Minimizing it for the purpose of taking a stupid jab.. okay..
Btw the salute and ceremony is always held on a military base, so as to your secondary "audience" shot, it's not exactly a Beyonce concert

Not a stupid jab, a serious comment on the irony of a meaningless ceremony for a Commander in Chief who has earned little respect from "his" troops over an eight year term.
A Beyonce concert? Eric Holder could draw a bigger crowd at an NRA convention.

A moving truck was seen on Wednesday parked outside the White House, where President Obama will live and work for just two more weeks.
The truck was parked on West Executive Avenue, a street inside the White House gates and situated in-between the Eisenhower Executive Office Building and the West Wing.

Here's a band aid.
No work. No medical.
And yeah, I use an ATM card, and don't carry change.

Those are the same guys that thought Hillary was a lock at the start of election night and haven't stopped whining since.

Obama falls to 38% with "all adults"

Your prediction that Obama would fall below Bush is a wee bit off. Ok a lot off.

Do you actually believe that 60% number?
If it were actually true, Trump would have never won...no way...no how...given everything else being exactly the same. Even the spooky hacking...

The poll was 100% from their dem followers. If you started/did one here, he would be below 20%.

Actually Obama's good numbers are due to a resurgence of independents approval:
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...bc-poll-finds/
It also follows the historically typical Prez approval pattern.. high at the start, sag in the middle, finish up strong..
