Newest Dave Schwartz Project

I am now embarking upon the newest and greatest project ever and I want to let everyone in on it ahead of time so that you can get as excited about it as I already am. Announcing...

The Horse Handicapping Authority Magazine

It is probably still 2-3 months out but we hope to release well before Breeder's Cup.

This will be what is commonly known as an "InBox Magazine." That is, you will receive it via email in your in-box. The cost will be FREE!

Let me say that a little louder...

FREE!

What's the catch? You will have to sign up.

The primary theme of the magazine is handicapping. We are working on features - I am sure it will be a work-in-progress for several months.

We are also looking for regular contributors. In the next few weeks we will be contacting bloggers of note who have something worthwhile to say and are interested in contributing. If you are interested and we do not contact you soon enough, don't wait! Just email me directly to arrange an appointment to discuss this.

This magazine is for the horse handicapper. To that end, I am inviting anyone who has something to say to contact me. This includes software vendors! Yes, even my competition!

Understand, we are not looking for articles that are just commercials for your software or products. That is just not what this is about. It is about handicapping content! So, if you have something to offer people who are probably not going to be using your products (or mine, for that matter) and want to participate, contact me directly and we can discuss how (and why) you can become a part of it.

Please consider this a public invitation to Ken Massa, Jeff Platt, Bob Purdy, Gordon Pine, Ted Craven and any other vendor of software that I may have forgotten to mention in the moment.

As usual, there will be a poll.

Regards,
Dave Schwartz

Dave:

I didn't see any fine print about your privacy policy. More specifically if you promise not to sell email addresses to others. Will that be the case?

Thanks,

Count me in.

And I always have something to say, if a bit controversial.
And nothing to sell.

I am truly surprised at this point that so many would have zero interest. I would love for them to tell me why.

If few people have interest in this project I may very well re-think the whole thing.

This project is at considerable cost, both start-up and ongoing investment.

Please, whatever feedback ANYONE may have, let me have it.

Hi Dave...

Are you looking primarily for "bloggers of note" and software developers...or can anybody join in?

I would love to be a contributor...but I hardly qualify to be mentioned alongside the famous names you have already listed in your post.

I think it's a great idea as long as it's handicapping oriented and not a vehicle to sell me everything under the sun....... i would give it a go.
Cheers

This sounds great

One suggestion if I may? I would love to see articles written about various racetracks, and certain "handicapping tips and nuances" that an expert on that particular track would be willing to share.

Sounds like a winner

A whole lot of cows have to go to pull this off, I'm all for it though.
