Classic kick back

I didn't want to start another Zenyatta thread, but I told cpitt84 about this photo of Zen catching all that kick back in the Classic, then I couldn't find the thread where it was mentioned...so, forgive me for another thread
(it's plain to see, Zen was not happy about all that dirt)

You are honestly saying you can see she is not happy? Wow, the Stretch Armstrong type reaches continue. She has been last in all three of her dirt races, this wasn't new.

Anyone got a link to the other two dirt races so we can see if she was getting as much kick back?

Just asking......I don't know.

If you can't see that, cj, then you can't 'read' a horse...sorry!

I beleive in her other dirt races she was kept in the clear...but I may be wrong and have no photos to go by.

The point of this thread isn't to start another Zen argument...we all have our opinions, and they are all kind of beside the point this time...because I just wanted to post the photo for cpitt84.

Please, educate me. What makes you think she isn't happy?

I think you can assume that she's not happy. The mare only had a couple of dirt races, and runs near the back of the back. The picture shows big time kick back.

I don't get it...is there a picture of Blame and Fly Down all smiles and eating their kickback with spoons or something?

Aww thanks for the pic, joanied. I really appreciate it!!

Zenyatta definitely didnt know what that was but after seeing that, it makes me respect her more for almost getting there. I will miss her!

Of course, many want to assume lots of things about Zenyatta to try to compensate for her loss, and more importantly the opinion those same held that she couldn't lose.

I don't think it made much difference in the outcome of the race. There was no kickback during the stretch run. That's really the only part of the race she runs anyway.

That's not kickback. Somebody just popped a bottle of Kendall-Jackson.

The kickback stings but Z is not tossing her head about to avoid it - she is plugging on. She is not ingesting into her lungs too much either as, if so, she would not have been able to race so fast in the stretch.
