$3.89 lowest price in Orange County, and very likely headed back above four bucks again soon. That refinery fire in Richmond sure did not help things. Could be expensive for West Coast drivers to fuel up Labor Day weekend.

Gas prices in California gone ballistic in last few days, rising in some places over 50 cents a gallon almost overnight. Cheapest prices in Orange County $4.25-$4.35 and expected to go higher. A few stations have just shut down and closed, unable to be resupplied. The usual excuses and reasons given for the spike, except for the real one, ie, that the greenie eco-freak gang restrictions on energy developement is strangling us.

California's ridiculous green regs are killing you guys at the pump.
I feel your liberal pain.

We are down 9 cents here, overnight.
Romney came by and walked across all the Finger Lakes and now we get 60 mpg and every gas station has its own rainbow.

Don't forget the extra thirty cents per gallon (or is it more?) of state taxes.

Damn, I was right across the Lake in Rockwall at the Toyota dealer today. That would have almost been worth the 10 min drive.

3.41 in Murphy Tx today.

2 bucks a gallon + less than San Diego

Gas price at Arco....lowest price stations in So. Cal:

$4.59 Sunday Oct.6 Arcadia, California

I paid $3.99 a week ago here in Arcadia, California.

All stations in my area seem to have gas, no lines...yet.

How could they just have all these "refinery" problems all at once?

I don't mind paying higher taxes, but ONLY IF THE GOVERNMENT STARTS TO USE OUR MONEY EFFICIENTLY....which of course they NEVER DO.
