Take THAT, Pitino!!!

Kentucky 74
Louisville 69

What a comeback by the Wildcats, after trailing by 13 in the first half! (Disclaimer: I lived in Lexington from 1988 to 1995, and will always appreciate the way that Pitino resurrected the UK program after the NCAA sanctions resulting from the Eddie Sutton years. But I considered it a slap in the face when he hired on at Louisville a few years after leaving UK.)

Clutch plays by both teams, helluva game...I thought Calipari coached brilliantly the last two games considering he lost his starting center.

Florida still looks like the best team, but UConn has certainly been stepping up big time too.

And they said the SEC was down this year...

Born and live in Lexington, and in all my 40 years, one of the best March runs I've ever seen in these parts. Pretty quiet over there in Derby City..

GO BIG BLUE!!

Florida has won 25 or 26 in a row but interesting that the two teams that did beat them this season were Wisky and UConn.

This Kentucky team might be the best 8th seed ever. That bracket was loaded and they took down some very tough teams.
