What the guy in the video fails to mention as a possibility of why Tucker stopped airing the 1/6 video footage is the adverse reaction it got from both sides. Here is some Republican reactions:
McConnell said:
"It was a mistake, in my view, for Fox News to depict this in a way that's completely at variance with what our chief law enforcement official here at the Capitol thinks."
U.S. Capitol Police Chief Tom Manger said:
Carlson pushed "outrageous and false" allegations that officers acted as "tour guides."
The program "cherry-picked from the calmer moments"
McConnell said Manger's comments are the correct view.
"Clearly the chief of the Capitol Police, in my view, correctly describes what most of us witnessed firsthand on January 6. So that's my reaction to it," he said.
Sen. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.), meanwhile, told multiple news outlets said that Carlson’s show on the Jan. 6 footage was “bullshit.”
Sen. Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.): “To somehow put that in the same category as a permitted peaceful protest is just a lie.”
Rep Sen. John Kennedy of Louisiana: "I was here,"It was not peaceful. It was an abomination."
Sen. Mitt Romney: "Trying to normalize that behavior is dangerous and disgusting.
The absurd part is they act like their fragmented and disoriented potshots from Capitol security footage are the only documentary record of what happened."
Fox News did not respond to a requests for comment in response to the criticism about Carlson’s findings.
This is more likely the reason Carlson was ordered to can it.

No, they didn't act like that is the only documentary record of what happened.
Carlson provided the parts the media and the Jan06 committee never presented to the public because it didn't aid their agenda. Carlson never claimed this was the ONLY documentary record of what happened...how absurd! It's obvious you didn't watch the broadcasts.
Don't invent shit...or you're just as bad as you claim Carlson to be.
Also, there is no proof Carlson was ordered to "can" anything, as you put it. Please provide evidence to back up your claims, like you always tell me to do.

Stop knee jerking and being a jerk. I didn't say that. It is a quote from Mitt Romney.

I'm well aware you said likely.
What difference does that make?
I don't need a chill pill. If I were any chiller, I'd be dead.
You guys have no clue about me...even after 23+ years of doing this.

Does the guy in the video know? I'm just giving my opinion and I believe its a more reasonable explanation than his.
In case you didn't understand my post, all the boldfaced part are copied and pasted QUOTES FROM REPUBLICANS REACTING NEGATIVELY TO TC. Do you really think Murdoch wants that kind of reaction to his network? So its pretty logical that Murdoch told Carlson not to do it anymore.
BTW, Carlson earns about $35M a year paid by Murdoch. I doubt Tucker wants to see that go. So he'd better be a good boy and listen to daddy.

He's probably saving the really good parts for sweeps month.
It's all about the ratings for Carlson & FOX News.
Why else would they keep paying some shit-stirrer $35M a year if all he does is cause headaches for FOX owners?
It's not like he's getting massive advertising either...most of the good advertisers shun the show, do they not?
I guess Murdoch treats Curly Carlson as a "loss-leader" since his ratings are so damn high but he can't bring in quality advertising.

I don't think many people would consider McConnell or Kennedy as RINOs.

Don't you know that the Senate is the [white] "good ol' boys" club? Why do you think they call it the "upper chamber"?

Well McConnell could be RINO or is that CHINO in his case... but other then keeping Tinsle off the Supreme Court what has he done. For USA we know he's all in on any and every foreign involvement. Voted for the green new deal bailout bill called the Inflation Reduction Act.
McConnell helped lose the Senate as he was afraid of losing leadership... in his mind it was better to be second fiddle. A Rino move.

He is also responsible for the existence of HISA, which should rankle any serious fan of horse racing.
