In yesterday's 5th at Parx the 9 horse, We Be There, clipped heels with the winner going into the first turn (route race) fell to the track and lost it's rider. There was no mention of it in Jessica's call of this race, only later in the race did she mention that there was a loose horse still running.
Maybe it's the first time this type of incident happened during one of her race calls and she just didn't know how to mix it in with the call, but she's going to have to learn to do it. Failing to do so gives the impression of indifference to the horse and jockey.
I have no problem with her calling the races otherwise, hoping she'll become more comfortable at it as she learns with experience.
