Ukraine recently pubished that enemy losses are 61,000. Russian sources say it's closer to 20K. So 30-40K may be the number. And Ukr didn't say that it was 61K killed, but no longer combatants.

Casualties will be hard to figure for awhile.
Just the nature of what is happening in Russia controlled areas is hard to quantify.

Helluva birthday present for Putin.
This does not bode well for Crimea...
I can't overstate how vital this bridge is...

On August 28th he went on Tucker and said the war is over and Russia has already won.
Since then we've watched Russian positions turn to ash across 3 different axis.
The guy is a Kremlin stooge.
You never want to dismiss someone outright but there are facts and there are "takes."
The facts are this war is going disasterously for Russia yet his "takes" on it are consistently wrong and line up shockingly well with their Ministry of Defense talking points.
When someone is consistently painting a rosier picture of what is happening for Russia than Kadyrov and Prigozhin your eyebrows should raise.

I didn't listen to the link either...however...if nobody is really taking you seriously except for maybe Tucker...can you really be considered a tool of the Kremlin?

He's been cited a lot on Russian State TV.
Even done several interviews with them. He along with the usual suspects are spoon fed as propaganda to the Russian people.

Looking over his career...I don't think he's been compromised by Russia.
I think he's an arrogant man who holds strong to his own beliefs and isn't someone swayed easily by the general consensus.
As late as 2019, according to the great Wikipedia, Israel was using his book as required reading for all of its officers ranked Lt. Col or above.
They also had him over in 2020 to meet with the IDF head honchos.
He's had an interesting career.

I'm not saying he's necessarily compromised.
Moreso just stating that the opinions he has on this specific matter appear to be serving a type of audience and that they've been spectacularly wrong for the duration of this conflict.

Russia really retaliating for the Kerch bridge by attacking civilian populations at rush hour with cruise missile barrages.
Reports are that a lot of older S300 missiles have been repurposed for this task as well due to depleted stocks.
I'm not going to share any of those images. People can look for themselves but the mask is really off at this point.
Instead we can enjoy this Ukrainian soldier engaging and killing one inbound cruise missile with MANPAD... wild shit...

That's the narrative they want out there about him though...which is why you write about him the way you do.

I've done a little research on the Colonel and it's difficult to get anything concrete. One statement he said was that the story about Russian atrocities is not true. This statement makes me question his whole premise.
Several times in the past six months, multiple International groups have verified Russian war crimes, calling it genocide. The colonel denies that happening, saying Zelensky stages those bodies lying on the roads and lying by the hundreds in bombed buildings. Some populations have been depopulated and moved into Russia. I've seen escapees report that. This whole thing has created a lot of doubts about all the war reports we've been fed over the years on our own country's incursions.
I guess the next six months will either prove the Colonel is the only one who knows WTH is going on, and we've been duped or not.
