Only thing that matters is that it wasn't Obama or Hillary that got it done.

When Republicans tell other countries they have to raise wages but freak out when minimum wage gets talked about domestically.

Can't wait to hear the mental gymnastics for this...

He didn’t tell anybody they had to raise wages. He simply said to qualify for the deal those employees had to be working for $16 an hour minimum. They can pay whatever they want. It’s no different than for example the Davis bacon wage scale. If you want to certain projects it requires certain labor payments. Nobody is requiring anybody to bid those jobs.

It is nothing of the sort. It is raising the minimum wage of the Mexican automotive industry in order to ink a trade deal.

Why are you against laws requiring McDonalds to pay $15/hr.? Same logic applies here.

The new wage drives up costs on consumers.

Car prices projected to jump under Trump trade agreement with Mexico

Quote:
“The new agreement will push production costs higher on Mexican products — parts and vehicles — which, eventually, will be paid by American consumers," said Michelle Krebs, executive analyst at Autotrader, the car-shopping website owned by Cox Automotive.
Current GOP: We can't raise minimum wage because it would ruin the economy passing costs on to consumers...

Also Current GOP: Raises minimum wage of Mexican Auto Workers...

The Trump family...

You do realize his family and all their businesses have taken nothing but giant HITS since he ran for and won the presidency, right?

I know you think that's a good thing, and that's fine, but don't try and make it like he and his family are getting rich off this gig.

I have to be the one to point this out to you because I know ely won't.

Trump and his entire family would have been MUCH BETTER OFF business-wise had Trump just stayed on 5th avenue and never thought about running for president.
