they sell basic complete garbage second rate stuff made in China and rip you off. Amazon robs you even more and sells plenty of junk too.

Yup, and I just got back from one and saved a whopping $4. compared to what Walgreens is charging for rechargeable batteries.
I luv my Wally World.

Yeah, but it is about Wally World's sales to which I happily contribute.

More good news. If it would only be reported on certain stations and in certain newspapers.

Lambo, so where do you shop?
I know the Costco model has proven to be better for communities, but cheap is what most people want.
BTW, I'm amazed at how many orders we place at Amazon.

for meat i go to a meat packer that distributes for the northeast. for fish i go to the seaport district. for produce i go to the produce market. all are better quality than what you can find at walmart at about a third the price as well.
by the way anyone can go to these places, they just aren't as convenient as going to a super market where you get one stop shopping. on occasion i go to a place called Restaraunt Depot that has most of the other things i need, and that place is a little more than half what a supermarket gets you for. its only about a mile from my house, the other places are 3-5 miles away.

I doubt much of anything can be found at a third of the cost of Wal-Mart.

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/08/22/targ...ever-seen.html
Target sees unprecedented growth in same-store sales and foot traffic during the second quarter.
CEO Brian Cornell credits the strongest consumer environment he's ever seen for the retailer's solid results.
This follows similarly strong results from companies like Walmart, Kohl's and TJ Maxx owner TJX.
