Neither does running him on the dirt in NY.
Just transfer them to the Servis barn - he will win the Classic.

And in the end, the best race of the day.

I think that was a 10f horse beating a 9 furlong horse.
The pace was dawdling and when the 2 best horses are setting it the closers have no shot, will bet some of the back of this field back in better setups.

It was a 2-horse race all the way.
Nothing else showed anything.
They could have run around again and nothing was going to pass them.

Yeah I really wrinkled my nose seeing the post time odds for My Boy Jack.
Some of the horses sat too far off the pace who I think had the space and could've still had the gas for the stretch were they to run closer to it.

Good luck.

Hunting Horn had his shot - first-time Lasix, and he still only managed third.
As for Analyze It, he might be better off pointed for the BC Mile.

HH sure looked pathetic in the stretch.
Was it the track itself?
I can't wait to see the TF figs for that race.
What if they carded a Gr1 race and no one showed up?
this is why I do my own graded race assignments - I will never be fooled into thinking this was a Gr1 no matter what the PPs say in the future.
This was a Gr3 race. With a + = 2 Gr2 winners in it, albeit one on the dirt.

I'm not sure lasix first time really gives all horses a kick. Could hurt them too, who knows.

The turf at Belmont is lightning fast. Does it hinder the Europeans?

I agree with your class assessment but they are 3 year olds. This race keeps taking a beating but I personally am glad it is on the map and I think the value of it's importance will increase over time. Breeding for turf and distance has been almost antithetical in this country. I love turf and am glad too see more horses bred for both grass and distance in this country. Races like this in the near future might be a launchpad for ambitions on the Arc De Triomphe! OK maybe I am dreaming but it's a start!

The winner never touched it, did she?
I thought she sprouted wings.
