Shreveport was a nice place 50 years ago when I grew up there. Drove thru there about 10 years ago and its not the same city. Same can be said of Little Rock, and probably a lot more on the list.
I believe street for street, Flint is probably worse than Detroit...if that were possible.

I had a business offer in Shreveport recently. It was very enticing. But after ten minutes on the phone I decided I didn’t want to have ties to that city. I found out things aren’t good there business wise

SLC being one of the 50 worst cities to live in tells me there was a serious flaw in the methodology.
Had my wife not exercised her veto on any city that got more than 48” snowfall, we’d be on a bench there instead of Reno.
I’m not complaining mind you. But outside of some weird streets that randomly disappear underground into parking lots downtown, SLC is a great scene.

31 cities on the list are found in the states of Arkansas, Utah, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, Indiana, Michigan, Tennessee, Ohio, Arizona, Wisconsin, Missouri and West Virginia; all of which have Republican governors and Republican majorities in both houses of their state legislatures.
In addition to that, New Mexico, Massachusetts and Illinois, which each have one city on the list, all have Republican governors.
No way am I going to provide the data by city, but the date is today.

Can you still have as many wives as you want there?

You are actually correct when you say the problem in those cities is that a lot of black people live there. But it is not because they are black except in the sense that Republicans in general are very reluctant to help black people. Or any minority. If those same cities were 90% white you can be sure the Republican governors and state legislators would be falling all over themselves to be sure they had everything.
Remember, we only call you racist because you are.

No. But surprisingly, you can have as many beers as you want. Pretty nice micro-brews and music scene. Not unlike our little corner of the world.
Are you going to any RenoIsArtown events? I’m planning on fighting through the scrum to see Los Lobos at Wingfield downtown on July 1 and got tickets for Jake Shimabukuro at Bartley Ranch mid-month. Would have loved seeing Marcia Ball toward the end of July but will be out of the country for a few weeks starting the 27th.
I have to say that Reno has been awesome since we got here.

Around 1986, I was dating this girl whose brother was Mormon(the rest of her family wasn't).When I finally met him at a family get-together and he mentioned in passing his religion, my comment was "Where are the rest of your wives?" The phrase "If looks could kill" came to life, followed by a forced half smile from him.
Lesson learned: No cracking wise with someone you just met.

Totally irrelevant - CITIES, not STATES.

Obviously, you are ignoring the fact that Black unemployment is at an all time low after decades of democrats doring NOTHING to help not only Blacks but anyone in general.
Where do you get your information, Wacky-pedia?

As you know, anything helping out minority populations such as Black or Hispanic, is totally due to Dear Leader Obama's tremendous policies implemented during his tenure.
Any success enjoyed today by ANYONE is so NOT due to anything evil Trump has done.
Get it straight!
