...........................

I posted about this a few months ago and got a PM saying the issue would be considered but it hasn't changed

AmWager does not allow place and show wagering to be considered in awarding their bonus

they are the only ADW I've ever encountered that disallows place wagering, some other ADWs do disallow show wagering and some allow show wagering

doing this forces the player into more risk to obtain the bonus

many bettors, including myself would like to use place and/or show to secure the bonus before continuing on to our usual style of wagering

also, with their 10% sign up bonus bettors would have to wager $1,000 to get $100 worth of bonus money

many other ADWs require much, much lower wagering levels to earn about $100 or more worth of bonus money

What ADW does a bonus over 10% up to $500? None of them.

One does 20% up to $200. But still a much worse deal for many players.

Counting place wagers was considered but not changed.

That combined with the initial promo code, normal reward during the sign up period on all wagers... Quite frankly no one else offers anywhere near that.

Also, we will be launching a new referral system in the next two weeks or so.

We will keep making our platform better for all players of all skill levels.

incorrect. xpressbet.com offers the exact same promo except they allow place and show
wagering (see link)

also, they give you 90 days to fulfill the wagering requirement whereas AmWager only gives the bettor 30 days

they have offered this for at least one year and maybe more than 2 years - I'm not 100% sure

it's pretty surprising that you as a professional in this industry wouldn't be aware of this

just to be clear I don't represent or have any interest at all in xpressbet.com

I don't really care if anyone uses them or not

I only cited them for comparison purposes

man they are giving away $500 for no reason at all, and they are giving you a rebate. that is pretty good in my book.

Actually that is for wagering credit not cash. Large difference.

as I understand their requirement of the wagering credit if you use the wagering credit to bet $2.00 and you win and the payout is 2/1 - $6.00 - then that $6.00 can then be withdrawn as cash

since most players would continue to bet after receiving the credit then I do not see it as a large difference - it is IMO a small difference

if I am wrong about how their wagering credit is handled then I apologize - but I don't think I'm wrong

if you state that I am wrong I am going to call them later to clarify

So limited extra risk on front side is bad but full added risk on the backside is no problem.

So if we shift to noncash and allow show wagering would that be better? If so that isn't an issue.. it would be far far less risk on our side.

To be fully clear... Last discussion we had on shifting this was actually Wednesday.

I was in favor of moving to non-cash and allowing the other pools. Some of our staff (that frequently wager) said it would be a bad move and players would hate it.

Above all else what we believe most players will like and or benefit from is our guiding principal. As with any business treat customers well and hopefully they will recommend you. Unless something passes our internal players it generally doesn't get done.

They should have it as a feature of the account. A page that shows upcoming htw . Dunno, maybe they already do this

should be easy to do

gets the cust to go to the site as well.

We don't currently have a horse watch feature..

That and a few things similar are on the short list though.

Amwager is excellent. I've decided to start betting heavier this fall, which I haven't done in a few years, and most of my bets will be through Amwager.
