Vic, don't pay attention to some of these clowns, what Oaklawn did to you was a tragedy for horse racing.
I have not made a bet at Oaklawn since the day they let you go and I use to bet thousands on most race days.
I moved my betting to mostly NYRA tracks.
Oaklawn made a very big mistake that I hope that some day they regret.
You are and always will be one of the premier race callers to ever come along.

I 100% agree-as far as I'm concerned Oaklawn Race Track no longer exists-I don't pay attention to these so called racing experts and wonder how some of them are still employed--The few times I watched his pre race gig I found him very entertaining--As I said previously in other posts I always found Vic to be an excellent race caller and liked his style-

Glad you liked the pre-race show. I tried to educate as well as handicap on that show.

Attempted to mix in a little fun too.

Truth be told I'm STILL really having a very tough time coming to terms with being fired by Oaklawn.

Everyone gets fired as some point in their lives. Especially on the race track.

I've been let go a few times. Never easy but you live and learn and move forward.

Struggling to do that here.
