George Weaver has finally woken up from his coma.
Last 10 he is 4 wins and 1 or 2 seconds.
Better late than never.

Hey Tom,

You were right on the button with Weaver at the time of your post I have one 2nd place finish with two 3rd's to go with the 4 wins

I thought he was coming out of his slump and then he laid an egg and went 0 for 4 on the very next racing day he entered horses

Looks like he took another step backward yesterday but I will start to keep an eye on his barn maybe he catches fire during the last days at the Spa!!!

Interesting to note, that 3 of the 4 wins were on the Turf during the streak so maybe he should go back to Turf?

I would rather be at Del Mar!

Every so often I come out here. I feel it is my duty as a horse racing fan.

But for the life of me I still don't get it. Let's all crowd into an outdated 19th Century firetrap, surrounded by sawdust, tents with holes in them, and cheap chain link fencing, to get a poor view, with plenty of obstructions, of some of America's top horses. And we all pretend it is so great and upper class.

At any rate, I am happy to be here- I think. Hopefully they don't cancel the races due to the heat!

The Morning Line Favorites less than 3-1 have been getting their butts kicked since Sunday!!!

They have won only 2 of their last 22 and they have been 0 for their last 5 at one point they were 0 for 11 on Sunday before getting 2 wins on Monday!!!

I took a stand against him with the .

But I know less about hurdle racing than a dart board.

So last race at Finger Lakes is not an automatic throwout anymore.

The meet through Monday

# Plays #W W% WP% WPS% WROI PROI SROI Avg $ Highest
36 8 22% 33% 50% 2.20 1.19 0.98 $19.8 $104

Thrown out the $10 horse Monday and it is still a positive roi.

Well Fisher broke the skid as #3 Dark Gemini came through for the win it only paid $7.80 across the board but as I always say sometimes you have to take what they give you!!!

Congratulations to those who saw the play and were able to make a profit!!!

Thanks for the pics.

Yes, Del Mar is a more modern facility and more fan-friendly, but the racing (I'm sure you'll agree) has always been superior at Saratoga(I don't know about this year because I don't play Del Mar and the SPA washouts drove me crazy) . And you cant beat the surrounding walkable neighborhood. The entertainment in the area is fantastic, with the Saratoga Performing Arts Center.

What are you doing on the east coast? I thought(mistakenly?) you were a west coast guy? Did you fly out specifically to go to the track? So where did you stay?

I didn't visit the SPA this year for the first time in ten years, mainly because I moved to FL this year. I plan to be back next year.
