I'm back watching races and building up watch lists after two days off.

Nursing Facility I'm in admitted a handful of Covid+ patients a week ago. Incompetent containment methods. I also got a roommate who was the real life version of Peter Griffin (exact looks, Worcester Ma. accent) who was hacking up phlegm and unable to use toilet properly (I'd assume he was tested before admitting but who knows).
He eventually tested positive, then so did I.
Thankfully they moved him out of my room.


Took 2 shots early last year for passport. No boosters. Now taking the antiviral.

Actually I did lose my smell and taste this time. I first noticed it with my coffee, tasted like water. Kept making it stronger but still little taste then I realized it was me and not the coffee. Used spray bleach in the shower and couldn't smell it, kept spraying it until my eyes were burning but couldn't smell it! Wife can always smell bleach from the other end of the house but this time didn't complain at all so I don't think she could smell it either. We are all pretty much back to normal after testing positive 2 1/2 weeks ago. Kids were down for 3 days each this time but ibuprofen knocked out the aches and slight fever. Last year they were only down for 1/2 day. Whatever version of the chinavirus this one was, it was a bit worse than last year but still not as bad as some colds I've had.
